Michiko Ogawa Michiko Ogawa is performer-composer born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
She is a member of several musical groups, including Berlin's Harmonic Space Orchestra and working with Lucy Railton, Manuel Pessoa de Lima, James Rushford, Sam Dunscombe, Ellen Arkbro, Tashi Wada and others. She was awarded Bachelor's degree (BA) from Toho-Gakuen School of Music, Master's degree(MA)for clarinet performance from the Musikhochschule Freiburg under Prof. Jörg Widmann, and her Doctoral degree (DMA) from the University of California (San Diego) in 2019 with research on the film music of Teiji Ito, and is currently writing a biography of him. |
